Filipino Night Market

Every night from 5pm to 11pm, in the centre of Kota Kinabalu, opposite the Le Meridien Hotel is an open air market. There are rows and rows of stalls with fresh produce and cooked or barbecued seafood and meat.
We spent every evening walking around and watching the buyers, sellers and kids while snacking on fresh deep-fried bananas.

Watermelon.

You can buy fresh fish, poultry, vegetables and fruit.

Mango seller.

Straight from the fishing boat. Delivered every day by hundreds of boats.

Tuna anyone?

Cooking out in the open.
