Paradise in the Philippines: El Nido

For years I have been planning on visiting Palawan. I heard many stories about incredible diving, beautiful sunsets, crystal clear water, palms and white sand beaches all around El Nido. When Ania and Lukasz started planning their annual Asia trip I mentioned Palawan. There was no need to try to convinced them. One look at beautiful photos online of Palawan and they were hooked.

We flew with ITI (Island Transvoyager Inc.) from Manila to El Nido. Arrived in El Nido a bit nervous as we had only a couple of nights booked in advance (there was very little choice available online). Thankfully while there we didn’t have any problems choosing a room from a very wide range of places.
El Nido didn’t disappointed us. It is truly beautiful.
Four of us spent over a week ‘island hopping’ and exploring secret beaches, lagoons, admiring rock formations, relaxing on the beach, zip lining, diving, sea kayaking and gorging on fresh and delicious seafood cooked on the beach.
If you are looking for paradise El Nido is definitively place you should head to. Stunning.
